Certification is a conformity confirmation procedure by which an organization independent of the manufacturer and the consumer certifies in writing that the product meets the established requirements.

Certificate of Conformity – a document certifying the compliance of an object with the requirements of technical regulations, provisions of standards, sets of rules or terms of contracts. Certification (Latin sertifico – I certify) is a form of confirmation of the conformity of objects to the requirements of technical regulations, provisions of standards, sets of rules or terms of contracts carried out by a certification body. Certification also means the procedure for obtaining a certificate.

Product certification
Product certification is a quality assurance procedure through which an organization independent of the manufacturer (seller, contractor) and consumer (buyer) certifies in writing that the product meets the established requirements.
The rules for product certification are regulated by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 343.
The requirements for product certification may include:
legislative acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
state standards (including interstate and international standards recognized in the Republic of Azerbaijan), sanitary norms and rules, construction norms and rules, safety standards, as well as other documents that, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, establish mandatory requirements for products.
