Types of certification

The implementation of works related to certification is carried out in accordance with the requirements specified in the National Certification System AZSRS – 003-93 “Certification System for Similar Products”, in accordance with the certification schemes defined in Appendix 5 to the system, as well as in accordance with international standards.

And so, the issuance of a “Certificate of Conformity” for a specific product (service) is carried out in the manner prescribed in the certification schemes, namely, based on the positive results of product testing, certification of the quality system and production:

for the sample under study, or for the batch of practical tests (schemes 1, 11 and 12);
based on tests of samples taken from the trade (Scheme 2);
based on tests of samples taken from a manufacturing enterprise (Scheme 3);
based on tests of samples taken from both trade and production (Scheme 4);
production certification based on sample tests (Scheme 5, 6, 7);
based on the application of the international quality system of the 9000 series (schemes 8, 9 and 10).
Works related to certification are carried out in accordance with production, import and export, and a corresponding certificate is issued.

The validity period of the issued certificates is determined in accordance with the certification schemes and the essence of the product.

Note: A certificate issued based on manufacturing, or quality system certification, is the highest form of confidence in the quality of a product.
